POSITION :       Administrative Assistant to Principal- Becket Washington Elementary School (School Year position)

 

QUALIFICATIONS:      

• Prior experience in an administrative role, preferably in a school setting
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality
• Experience with financial systems, student information systems, and/or state reporting platforms preferred

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:   

• 35 hours/week, school-year plus an additional 20 days per year
• Receptionist and management of front office (students, visitors, calls, mail, shipments)
• Daily student attendance entry
• Ability to manage and complete district and DOE reports
• Responsible for access to building
• Responsible for dismissing students
• Providing assistance to principal and staff
• Process staff timesheets and support payroll coordination
• Manage purchasing processes, including preparing and submitting purchase orders and coordinating with vendors
• Process accounts payable, including invoice review, coding, and submission for payment
• Other duties as assigned      

REPORTS TO:        Principal

 

START DATE:      July 1, 2026

 

SALARY:            $19.79 to $27.23 per hour per Admin Assistant contract
