QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Associates Degree preferred.
- Experience working with school aged students desirable.
- First Aid/CPR certification desirable.
- Experience with students with disabilities required.
- Able to work collaboratively with colleagues.
- Experience working with students with a variety of learning, behavioral, and emotional challenges.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to follow teacher direction.
- Requires patience and flexibility.
- Ability to interact and take direction from a variety of professionals.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Assist classroom teacher and/or special education teacher in implementing accommodations and/or modifications for students requiring such supports.
- Assist general and special education teachers in collecting data on student progress.
- Collaborate with other staff in implementing behavioral intervention plans, as needed.
- Support student independence through the acquisition of skills and strategies.
- Other duties may be assigned by the building principal or superintendent. Hours will be assigned by the principal.

SALARY:
In accordance paraprofessional' contract.
